SECURITY CO-ORDINATOR – DIGITAL INFRASTRCURE GLASGOW What you will be doing: An opportunity has arisen for a Security Co-Ordinator to join the team at Galliford Try within our Digital Infrastructure Business. • Coordinate the Security Vetting process for individuals requiring security clearance and maintain accurate records as per set processes and procedures • Comply with all government standards relating to aftercare for all clearance holders • Communicate and liaise effectively with all personnel, contractors, business partners and key stakeholders for both specific vetting and general security advice • Work with the Deputy Security Controller in ensuring that all project sites adhere to the correct level of Security Standards as set out in company processes and procedures • Provide Security Inductions as and when required • Assisting the Deputy Security Controller and arranging the necessary security education and awareness training for project and site teams • Support the management of Security Incidents/Breaches within your area of responsibility • Liaise with Establishments in regard to access requirements and manage process • Work with Project Manager to ensure clearances are achieved in a timely manner • Provide administrative support to project team as required About You: • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal with a good eye for detail. • Proactive, highly motivated, and flexible approach. • Ability to work independently and in a busy, fast paced environment. • Willing to challenge assumptions and ‘business as usual’. • Comfortable to challenge constructively and able to work effectively at all levels in the Organisation. • Ability to prioritise and manage own workload. • Reliable and well organised • Able to work with company and client procedures and standards. • Team player and able to work collaboratively with others. • Previous experience in an administrative role • Prior security vetting / screening experience desirable but not essential • Currently hold or able to attain minimum of DV security clearance (requires minimum 10 years residency within the UK) • Experience within the construction/telecommunications industries and knowledge of the relevant standards. • Previous experience on large scale defence/MoD projects preferable • Ability to establish strong, collaborative working relationships. • Must be an excellent team player.
