Main duties of the job
Working in secure healthcare presents new challenges, and we have opportunities for Bank Nurses. The role involves varied days with extensive training and development opportunities. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering primary care, mental health, and substance misuse services, including nurse-led clinics, medication administration, emergency response, triage, wound care, examinations, and referrals. No two days are the same, working in a friendly and supportive team.

Education and Training
* Registered Nurse Level 1 – Adult / General / Mental Health
* Mentorship / teaching / assessing experience
Knowledge and Experience
* Awareness of current healthcare issues
* Understanding of clinical governance, risk management, and quality agenda
* Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Experience of appraisal and clinical supervision
* Training to become proficient in SystemOne
* Understanding of healthcare delivery in a prison setting, including local and national documents and the Health and Justice agenda
* Experience working within a secure environment
* Experience of health needs assessment/Triage
* Experience in Practice Nursing, Chronic Disease Management, or Minor Injuries
* Relevant continuing professional development
* Experience using SystemOne
