Conveyancer - Qualified or Non-Qualified
Neath (Office Based - join the team in person)
TSR Legal are proud to be working with a firm who are experiencing a period of growth. The firm has built a formidable reputation in property transactions and now are expanding their conveyancing unit. With an enthused, collaborative team atmosphere and a strong pipeline of instructing work, this is the perfect moment to join and grow with the firm!
The Opportunity
We're looking for a motivated Conveyancer who can hit the ground running (or steadily build up) and manage their own caseload from start to finish. Whether you're already qualified or you're non-qualified but experienced and confident in running files, if you thrive on autonomy paired with teamwork, this role is for you.
You’ll be handling a wide variety of residential (and possibly commercial) property transactions: purchases, sales, remortgages, transfers of equity, newbuilds, buy-to-let, etc.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage your own caseload of property transaction files, from client instruction through to completion.
* Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders, other conveyancers/solicitors, HMRC, Land Registry, etc.
* Draft and review documentation, ensure compliance and best practice.
* Use internal systems efficiently, meet key performance indicators (turnaround times, client service levels).
* Work closely with your team - while you're managing your workload, you're still part of the team, sharing knowledge, jumping in when needed, collaborating.
* Stay up to date with conveyancing law, regulation, and best practice - the firm are serious about delivering top-quality service.
Who You Are
* You are either:
o A Qualified Conveyancer or Solicitor with property transaction experience;
o A Non-Qualified Conveyancer/Assistant with significant experience in conveyancing and ready to step up to managing your own files.
* You've already dealt with a variety of property transaction types (ideally purchases, sales, newbuilds, remortgages, transfers of equity) or you're enthusiastic and confident to handle them.
* You're organised, able to prioritise, manage your time and caseload efficiently under pressure.
* You deliver high-quality client service, you communicate clearly and you're comfortable taking ownership of files.
* You work well individually and as part of a team.
* You're happy working in an office-based role (the firm believes in teamwork, culture, collaboration) rather than remote only.
Why Join?
* An exciting phase of growth - you'll play a key role in building and shaping the conveyancing team.
* Significant autonomy: your own caseload, your own space to develop, but with team support.
* Friendly, supportive culture: the firm believes in collaboration, sharing knowledge and doing things the right way.
* A broad variety of work: from standard freehold purchases and sales to remortgages, buy-to-let, newbuilds, transfers of equity.
* Office-based: join a team, build relationships, benefit from mentorship, peer support, in‑person energy.
Next Steps
If you're looking to join a team that's ambitious, supportive and focused on delivering excellent property transaction services - and you're ready to manage your own workload while part of an expanding business - we'd love to hear from you.
