Randstad are recruiting for an MEP Project Manager to work on a structural refurb project at Gatwick Airport. This is a freelance contract position in ECI phase expected to last 4-6 months with potential for main works involvement in 2026. (OUTSIDE IR35 will be considered pending successful QDOS assessment) The MEP PM Manager will oversee all MEP works within the structural upgrade package, working closely with the works management team and co-ordinating all works to meet the required project programmes. The role requires collaboration with internal supply chain, Gatwick Airport supply chain and project management team. The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring all internal and client processes and procedures are followed to develop the programme. As part of the role, the MEP Construction Manager will be required to coordinate with Gatwick Tier 1 suppliers, to ensure that all of their works are fully coordinated and integrated to operate as a system. Lead and coordinate the development of MEP proposals, ensuring alignment and consistency across all project functions and disciplines. Facilitate clear communication and understanding of these proposals within the project teams. Drive the development of MEP mobilisation activities, and assist in procurement processes by identifying long-lead and high-risk packages to secure timely delivery aligned with client and project needs.
