The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning for students aged 11–16 during teacher absences. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering pre-prepared lesson materials with confidence and clarity
* Supporting positive behaviour in alignment with the school’s values and expectations
* Creating a calm, focused and purposeful learning environment
* Maintaining high standards of professionalism across all year groups
* Gaining hands‑on experience supporting students with special educational needs, offering valuable insight that will strengthen your development and enhance your future career in education
