The Role:
This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in our Heanor, Derbyshire office 3 days per week to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
To drive this growth, we are seeking a commercially minded and highly hands-on Digital Manager / Senior Digital Manager to take full ownership of our DTC site, including full P&L responsibility. The successful candidate will be both strategic and execution-focused — ensuring the site delivers an exceptional consumer experience, optimises conversion and ROI, and drives sustained revenue growth.
Working alongside our Digital Content Manager, this role will lead on DTC trading, site optimisation, offer and campaign planning, digital calendar management, and performance analysis, as well as working closely with agencies and partners to deliver best-in-class CRM, paid media, SEO, and UX/CX enhancements.
Responsibilities:
* Full P&L ownership of the UK Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce channel.
* Develop and deliver the DTC growth strategy, aligned with Weleda UK’s 5-year vision.
* Plan, implement, and manage the DTC trading calendar, including offer and promotional planning.
* Optimise site UX/CX to maximise conversion, average order value, and customer retention.
* Lead data-driven decision making, using analytics to track revenue, ROAS, and customer database growth.
* Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to deliver best-in-class SEO, paid media, CRM, and content execution.
* Co-own CRM strategy with the Digital Content Manager to support acquisition, retention, and lifetime value growth.
* Ensure smooth operation of the current Sana platform and lead on future migration to the group Spyker platform.
* Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, and Supply Chain to align DTC activity with campaigns and launches.
* Produce regular performance reports and present insights to senior stakeholders.
* Monitor competitor activity and identify emerging DTC opportunities.
* Support development of internal digital capabilities through sharing knowledge and best practice.
* Contribute to the broader digital strategy across the UK business.
* Attend relevant industry events and training to stay ahead of digital trends.
Your profile:
* Proven track record in managing and growing a DTC e-commerce channel, ideally in beauty, wellness, or healthcare.
* Experience with full P&L ownership and commercial accountability.
* Deep understanding of UX/CX, SEO, paid media attribution, CRM campaigns, and e-commerce trading.
* Skilled in digital analytics and reporting tools (e.g., GA4, Klaviyo, Salesforce CRM).
* Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary
£50,000- £60,000

This is an hybrid-based role, working three days a week at our Ilkeston office in Derbyshire.
