About the job.
We are currently recruiting for a Lead Data and Information Governance Manager to join our Chief Data Office within Digital Services. Our data is more than a digital reflection of our assets. Data is an asset in its own right and our purpose is to connect hearts and minds to data so we can use it to connect the country.
We work collaboratively across the Chief Data Office, and with our colleagues throughout National Highways, to deliver the Chief Data Officer's vision and strategy on how we manage our data assets.
There's never been a more exciting time to join our growing team, with plenty of opportunities to collaborate, innovate and be at the forefront and centre of some really exiting digital and data transformation programmes. As part of your role, you will ensure that the appropriate policies, processes, frameworks and guardrails are in place to support the business in making decisions based on fit for purpose and trusted data and information.
You will support our journey towards becoming a digitally focused, data-driven company.
Please note this position can be based in any of our UK offices. However, regular travel to Manchester, Leeds and Bedford to attend team meetings will be required.
