Rate: £340.00 per day inside IR35
Role Overview
A global financial organisation are are seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Billing Specialist to manage a large portfolio of customer accounts within a financial environment. This role requires a high level of accuracy, strong numerical capability, and the confidence to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring billing accuracy and financial integrity, while gaining valuable exposure to a fast-moving and dynamic product-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all billing data
Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely client payment
Respond promptly and professionally to client billing and payment inquiries
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and reports
Support wider accounting and finance activities as required
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial analysis
Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies
Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Experience
Degree preferred (mathematics, economics, finance, or a related field advantageous)
Minimum 2+ years experience in billing and account management
Very strong Microsoft Excel skills
Proven ability to manage large and complex datasets
Strong mathematical and computational skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
