Salary: £50,400 - £59,900 (inclusive of shift allowance) based on experience

12-hour shifts: 7 AM - 7 PM
* 2 days, 2 nights (5 off)
* 2 days, 3 nights (4 off)
* 3 days, 2 nights (5 off)

At our Mars Petcare factory, we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our dynamic team! You’ll focus on machine maintenance for specialized equipment, including:
* Flow wrapping
* Pick and place robotics
* Secondary and tertiary packaging machinery
As part of a four-person team, you’ll collaborate under the guidance of the Engineering Team Leader to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency on our production lines. Take ownership of designated areas and drive continuous improvement through digitalized analysis!
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose faults and resolve random failures on production machinery, identifying root causes.
* Determine when to escalate technical issues to the day support organization.
* Provide technical expertise to assist others in resolving equipment issues.
* Ensure the safe delivery of all services into and out of the factory during your shift.
* Plan maintenance activities for smooth transitions between maintenance and production.
* Work with the area engineer to complete planned preventative maintenance.
What We’re Looking For:
* A solid foundation in engineering, ideally through a recognized apprenticeship.
* HNC level in electrical engineering and a sound mechanical aptitude.
* Proven knowledge of 415v distribution, motor control, PLC software, and process control philosophies.
* Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus!
* Understanding of a broad range of electromechanical devices.
* Familiarity with H&S regulations.
* Computer literate, comfortable with internal software like Atlas PM, SAP, and Microsoft packages.
* FMCG experience is desirable.
* Knowledge of Rockwell PLC for fault finding and diagnosing is a bonus.
