Data Scientist - Database Analyst/Programmer II Larne, Northern Ireland (On-Site) Location: Larne (On-site) Contract: 12 months (Inside IR35) Hours: 37.5 hours/week (Flexible start/finish - typically 8:00am-4:00pm) We're currently looking for a talented Data Scientist / Database Analyst Programmer to join a leading engineering organisation based in Larne, Northern Ireland. Role Overview This is a hands-on role focused on data engineering, analytics, and automation, supporting key initiatives within a complex engineering environment. You'll play a vital part in building data pipelines, delivering analytical insights, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the business. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake Cleanse, transform, and validate large datasets to ensure data accuracy and integrity Manage scheduled data loads and perform ongoing data quality checks Support and contribute to data governance, standards, and documentation Deliver high-quality, curated datasets for reporting and business analysis Support development of KPIs, dashboards, and analytical models Troubleshoot and resolve data, integration, and reporting issues Build and optimise solutions using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate Integrate and manage CRM data (including Salesforce) to support business processes Identify and implement automation and process improvement opportunities across workflows.
