About the role
Whitmore High School is a forward‑thinking school committed to investing in staff development and transforming student lives. As IT Network & Systems Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the school's technical infrastructure and digital initiatives.
Responsibilities
 * Lead the delivery of IT services to support school staff and achieve short‑ and long‑term educational ambitions.
 * Oversee all IT network, staff resources, and contracts, ensuring optimal service delivery.
 * Coordinate all IT activities to guarantee availability of systems, services, and data for all stakeholders.
 * Position IT as a strategic strength by providing leadership and management to develop the school's IT provision.
 * Maintain detailed knowledge and experience in network management within a related field.
 * Be either a graduate degree holder or actively working towards a Level 7 qualification.
 * Have experience managing large IT networks.
 * Be highly self‑motivated, enthusiastic, and hardworking, with a flexible approach to tasks and responsibilities.
 * Demonstrate commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and practice equal opportunities.
 * Be committed to safeguarding all young people.
Qualifications
Experience in large IT networks, hold or pursue a graduate degree or Level 7 qualification, and a demonstrable record of network management.
