The Role
Fords has a new position for a Mechanical Assembly Fitter within the Production Team. This is a hands-on role for a multi skilled technician who will be responsible for building, setting up and testing of our capping presses and sealing systems.
Key Duties And Skills
Mechanical fitting experience of bespoke machinery
Ability to manufacture and assemble from Technical/Engineering drawings
Understanding of Pneumatics systems
Experience in the installation of Motors, Gearboxes, Belts, Bearings, complex assemblies etc
Use of various hand and power tools
Machine tool exposure
Strong understanding of Health and Safety regulations
Carry out any additional tasks as required from time to time, provided they are within the competence of the postholder.
