WAREHOUSE ADMINISTRATOR & FLT – BLACKBURN People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Administrator & FLT to join our well-established client based in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and the potential to secure a permanent position. The successful applicant will have Counterbalance FLT experience, along with Warehouse Administration experience. This role is approximately 50% administration and 50% FLT/general warehouse duties. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Stock Controller, Warehouse Coordinator, Goods In Administrator, FLT Counterbalance Driver or Warehouse Operative. Shifts: • Monday to Thursday: 08:15 – 16:45 • Friday: 08:15 – 15:45 Rates of Pay: • £13.71 per hour Benefits: As a Warehouse Administrator & FLT, you will receive: • Onsite parking • Supportive team environment • Weekly pay • Opportunity to secure a permanent position Day-to-Day Duties: As a Warehouse Administrator & FLT, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Maintaining a system for stock location • Generating paperwork as required and supporting the Warehouse Manager • Accurately recording intakes and despatches • Printing picking schedules and logging stock on Excel spreadsheets and the in-house system • Liaising with the warehouse and other operational departments as appropriate • Dealing with customers and transport companies via telephone and email • Stock taking and ensuring stocks are accurately labelled and accounted for • Raising awareness of and controlling stock loss and stock adjustments • Working directly with the sales office to process orders and troubleshoot issues • Maintaining and updating all relevant internal systems in line with customer and business requirements • Managing the warehouse and team in the Warehouse Manager's absence • Operating a Counterbalance FLT and supporting warehouse operations when required • Flexibility to assist within the warehouse, which may involve heavy lifting • Liaising with both the Sales Office and Buyer to ensure targets and customer expectations are met or exceeded Essential Skills: To be successful in this role, you must have: • Previous Warehouse Administration experience • A valid Counterbalance FLT licence • Experience operating LLOP trucks • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel • A motivated and reliable approach to work • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to multitask and prioritise workloads • Ability to work effectively under pressure • Good communication and organisational skills • Due to the nature of the business, heavy lifting may be required, therefore applicants must be physically fit Training Provided: • Full site training with ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this opportunity as a Warehouse Administrator & FLT, please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
