Manufacturing Storekeeper
Our client is a UK-based launch vehicle provider committed to environmental sustainability and advancing space capabilities. With the goal of conducting the first-ever vertical orbital launch from the UK, they aim to fill a critical gap in the market by providing cost-effective, sustainable access to space.
They're currently looking to expand their team and are looking for an organised and resourceful Storekeeper to manage inventory systems. With thousands of components used across launch vehicles, there is a requirement for large, well-organised stores.
Key responsibilities and tasks include:
1. Responsible for managing the storeroom, including monitoring stock control
2. Off-loading and loading deliveries to and from the workshop/stores area
3. Organising stock and maintaining a systematic approach to storing and retrieving items to maximise space and accessibility
4. Maintaining accurate stock levels in line with the ERP system
5. Operating and upgrading current workshop storeroom systems to support growth
6. Picking and delivering line-side stock
7. Picking and packing outgoing deliveries
8. Creating essential tooling kits and documentation, confirming all items are accounted for daily
