About the Role
Lead and manage a small team of 3 lawyers, driving commercial legal support across the PayPoint Group. This is a broad, hands‑on role focused on high‑volume contracts and strategic legal matters for innovative FinTech services, including FCA‑regulated businesses.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop the Contracts & Commercial Legal Team, ensuring efficient delivery of legal support.
* Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements for new services and FCA‑regulated businesses.
* Advise on GDPR, data protection, and data security issues.
* Manage external advisers and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
* Drive process improvements and collaborate across the wider legal team.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified lawyer with 5+ years PQE and strong academic background.
* Proven expertise in commercial contracts and technical drafting.
* Experience with GDPR, data protection, and FCA‑regulated businesses.
* Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
* Pragmatic, commercially minded, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
