Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated RTA Paralegal to join our legal team. The successful candidate will support personal injury cases related to road traffic accidents, assisting with case management, document preparation, and client communication. Duties
* Assist with the preparation and organisation of case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date
* Draft correspondence, reports, and legal documents using Microsoft Word and other Office applications
* Manage case deadlines and schedules using Microsoft Outlook and organisational tools
* Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and external agencies via phone or email in clear English
* Conduct legal research and gather evidence relevant to road traffic accident claims
* Support the legal team in preparing for court hearings or negotiations
* Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
* Organise and file documents both electronically and physically, adhering to firm procedures
Experience
* Previous experience as a paralegal or in a similar legal support role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly in English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential
* Good organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively
* Knowledge of IT systems relevant to legal case management is advantageous
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
