Are you passionate about local engagement and experienced in delivering projects with diverse local communities? If so, an exciting new opportunity has arisen to join our team as the Research Assistant for our new Well Home indoor air quality research project.
WellHome is a pioneering project to investigate the quality of air both inside and outside the home. Working with 100 households from across West London, we will be looking at the impact of air quality on our health and delivering a programme of outreach and public engagement.
The Research Assistant is crucial to the success of the project. Your role will be to ensure we engage effectively with local residents and stakeholders, develop our local partnerships and ensure the project is developed in collaboration with our local communities.
•You will help us build and maintain local engagement with the WellHome project, including leading on the recruitment of 100 local households.
• You will support and advise the project team to ensure we co-design and develop our local engagement activities and materials to meet the needs of our communities.
• You will coordinate a group of local ambassadors to facilitate the engagement and educational activities and the recruitment of local households.
• You will manage relationships with participating households and community groups, coordinating requests, responding to queries and ensuring effective communication.
With experience and passion for local community engagement, you will demonstrate:
• Experience in coordinating community projects/activities
• A track record in community outreach particularly with urban community groups collaboration with local groups and organisations.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships and influence a wide range of people.
•Local knowledge and experience of working on local community initiatives in London would be highly desirable.
