The studio is seeking a Logistics and Purchasing Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day logistics and purchasing function across the business.


This is a hands-on operational role, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, goods, and services through the studio and workshop. You will manage purchasing activity, oversee inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain clear oversight of supplier relationships and documentation.


A strong understanding of import and export procedures, including duty and tax implications, is essential. This role requires someone structured, detail-oriented, and confident working closely with production and senior teams to keep projects running efficiently behind the scenes.


Responsibilities

* Own and manage day-to-day purchasing of materials, consumables, and services.
* Raise, track, and reconcile purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including international shipments.
* Manage import and export processes, including documentation, customs, duty, and tax requirements.
* Ensure materials and components arrive on time and in full to support production flow.
* Maintain accurate records within Salesforce and support traceability across projects.
* Liaise with suppliers, freight partners, and internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
* Support warehouse organisation and the movement of goods, including high-value items.
* Preferred: forklift licence.


Skills & Experience

* Proven experience in logistics, purchasing, or supply chain management, ideally within a production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of international shipping, customs procedures, duties, and VAT implications.
* Experience raising and managing purchase orders with high levels of accuracy.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
* Proactive, reliable, and comfortable taking ownership of operational processes.
* Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce is advantageous.
