A well-established legal firm is seeking an experienced Housing Disrepair Costs Draftsman to join its team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, capable of handling volume drafting and consistently achieving high value cost recoveries. Key Responsibilities
* Drafting and negotiating legal costs, ensuring timely and precise submission
* Utilising Proclaim and CostsMaster software to manage caseloads effectively
* Handling Housing Disrepair (HDR) claims, with prior experience preferred
* Working autonomously to meet recovery targets within required timeframes
* Collaborating with solicitors to optimise case outcomes
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in costs drafting
* Proficiency in Proclaim and CostsMaster software
* Prior exposure to Housing Disrepair (HDR) cases is preferred but not essential
* Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume drafting and cost recovery
* Bonus-driven mindset, with a strong focus on financial performance
* North West-based candidates preferred; fully remote options available for experienced professionals meeting all criteria
