Test Engineer
The Test Engineer designs test equipment, develops test processes, and performs testing for new and existing embedded products. The role involves interpreting requirements, creating test plans, building automated test fixtures, and ensuring products meet system‑level performance and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop system‑level test plans and processes for embedded products in NPD projects.
Design and build production and engineering test fixtures for electronic, mechanical, and embedded subsystems.
Perform integration, validation, and verification testing against product requirements.
Collaborate with software, electrical, and mechanical teams to define and refine test requirements.
Execute tests, analyse results, and support root‑cause investigations.
Produce clear documentation including test plans, reports, and technical findings.
Candidate Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in product testing and test process development.
Skills in C, C++, Python, and embedded debugging tools.
Knowledge of communication protocols and hardware interfaces.
Familiarity with PCB design and EDA tools.
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and analytical skills.
