We are looking for an awesome Sales Manager to
join our Sales team at The Barnsdale Hotel.



Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape
with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining
using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the
locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland
Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns
of Oakham and Uppingham.



The ideal candidate will be a warm, friendly
professional who shares a passion for service excellence, has an eye for detail
and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This role will report into
the Revenue Manager for The Barnsdale, whilst working in a close partnership
with our General Manager and Group Director of Sales.

In a nutshell, you will:

· Grow our business profitably both reactively and proactively.

· Not to be afraid to knock on doors / pick up the phone and research the unknown.

· Focus on the local markets and feeder markets such as Nottingham, Peterborough, Leicester and Corby to name a few.

· Retain and develop our database of clients maximising profits.

· Have a good understanding of our competitor set, and where we sit within the market.

· Be the main point of contact for corporate events and exclusive bookings.

· Be confident to host lunches, dinners and show rounds at the hotel.

· Ensure high quality service, on time and to budget by managing events to enable us to fulfil our contracted promises to clients and guests consistently.

· Liaise and build partnerships with our third parties and ensure a strong working relationship with each of them.

· Act as a brand ambassador for The Barnsdale ensuring that a positive brand image is strengthened and maintained in all interactions with customers.
