We are currently seeking a highly skilled procurement manager to join our team. As a procurement manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers, as well as managing the procurement team.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a procurement manager, preferably in the energy from waste industry
* Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and procedures
* Familiarity with energy from waste technology and equipment
* Experience negotiating with suppliers and contractors
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Duties:
* Consultants procurement managers tasks and responsibilities include the following:
* Lead the procurement management activities in all purchase packages
* Support the respective Discipline Managers in all other purchase packages (Main Equipment packages, BOP mechanical, electrical etc.) in commercial and contractual matters as required.
* Preparing the procurement plan and coordinating the procurement activities within the project
* Preparing and updating the Procurement list
* Preparing project specific model documents and templates for procurement as well as taking over of procurement packages and acquiring Purchasers approvals for those
* Taking care of procurement tasks in co-operation with discipline managers and procurement engineers.
* Supporting Discipline managers and Delivery supervisors in delivery control and claim management
* Participation in commercial tender and contract negotiations
* Reviewing suppliers financial guarantees in co-operation with Customer
* Escalation of issues and concerns to Project manager
