Role Summary:
This is an opportunity to join a finance team in the divisional head office with ultimate responsibility for a number of global entities.
The Senior Accountant will support the Senior Finance Manager with the daily, monthly and annual financial requirements of the UK divisional entity, with additional support provided to global entities as required.
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
* Month end tasks and financial reporting to Group
* Managing Fixed Assets accounting and processes
* Managing Leased Assets under IFRS16
* Preparation of journals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
* Liaising and becoming key contact with external auditors
* Support Credit Control Manager in preparing accurate cash forecasts on a weekly basis and management of foreign currency balances across the division.
* Intercompany reporting and reconciliations, including recharges.
* Accounting and submission of VAT, Intrastat and EC sales (3 registrations)
* Management of company Corporate Credit cards
* Support FP&A team in preparing forecasts and budgets as required
* Ensuring strict adherence to internal controls.
* Financial statement preparation for UK and Singaporean entities
* Support Group tax team for tax return preparation and tax analysis.
* Produce KPIs for various parts of finance.
* Any other ad hoc tasks as required

Knowledge and Skills:
Essential:

Education and Qualifications:
Essential:
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent
* Microsoft Office; in particular advance Excel skills
Desirable:
* Experience of IFS Enterprise Resource Planning (IFS10) system or similar
* Sharepoint and Microsoft Teams
* Spanish, German, French or Mandarin language skills
