Overview
Due to an exciting new contract with GSF, Turners (Soham) Ltd is recruiting LGV Class 1 Drivers to be based at Castleford.
Responsibilities
* Shift pattern: Tuesday - Saturday and Monday - Friday on a rota based system covering trunking and roll cage store deliveries.
* As a driver within our GSF operation, you will develop close working relationships with your planning, training, and supervisory team, and driving colleagues in an organisation that strives to create a welcoming and comfortable environment. You will also be required as a skilled driver to demonstrate professionalism and courteous conduct to our customers.
* Deliveries are required during the night; therefore, shifts are expected to start at midnight 00:00 onwards and manual handling will be required at all collection and delivery points. Shift lengths will be governed by needs, capacity, and schedules, meaning that drivers will need to have some flexibility with shift starting and finishing times. Shift lengths do vary but you are expected to comply with all Tachograph and Working Time Directive regulations at all times.
Qualifications
* Full C+E Licence.
* Driver CPC & Tacho Card.
* Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
* Tail lift experience is desirable, but training will be given.

* Rates of pay £15.45 per hour, Monday-Friday plus enhanced rate of £20.00 per hour for Saturdays.
