About the Role We are looking for a vibrant and enthusiastic Ballet teacher to lead our Ballet Afterschool Club. The club encourages children to explore movement, build grace and confidence, and enjoy dance through fun and engaging ballet activities. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who is passionate about ballet, enjoys working with children, and can create a fun and inclusive environment where pupils can develop both confidence and fundamental dance skills. Responsibilities Plan and deliver weekly 1-hour ballet sessions tailored for children aged 4–8. Teach basic ballet techniques, movements, and creative expression in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Incorporate warm-ups, imaginative play, and simple choreography into sessions. Foster teamwork and confidence through group dance activities. Communicate effectively with school staff and follow safeguarding guidelines. Requirements Strong background in ballet and/or dance teaching. Experience working with primary-aged children (Reception to Year 3). Ability to engage and inspire a group in a fun, structured way. Reliable, enthusiastic, and punctual. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Right to work in the UK is required.
