* Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
* Maintain and update financial records in compliance with company policies.
* Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Support the preparation of monthly financial reports and management accounts.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.
* Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
* Assist in VAT returns and other regulatory compliance tasks.
* Contribute to process improvements within the accounting function.
Profile
A Successful Accounts Assistant Should Have
* A solid understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and learning new skills.
