Job Title: Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £90–£110 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-Day/Long-Term; Full-Time/Part-Time
Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a vibrant Nottinghamshire school?
GSL Education are offering an excellent opportunity for a confident Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work in a supportive school in Nottinghamshire. You will be working closely with class teachers to support individual students or small groups, helping to raise attainment, promote positive behaviour and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment. This is a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills within a welcoming and forward-thinking school community.
Key Responsibilities of Level 3 Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Support teaching and learning under the guidance of the class teacher, both in and out of the classroom.
* Assist with the planning and delivery of targeted interventions.
* Provide 1:1 support for students with additional needs or EHCPs.
* Help maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
* Monitor student progress and support assessment activities.
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents and external agencies as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a primary or secondary school setting is preferred.
* A caring, proactive and patient approach to supporting learners.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education.
