£38,000 per annum + benefits

What You’ll Be Doing:
* Support the Head Chef and lead the brigade in their absence
* Maintain high standards in food quality, hygiene, and kitchen presentation
* Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and team cohesion
* Participate in menu development and dish creation
* Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff
* Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and fire regulations
* Conduct kitchen audits with the Head Chef and General Manager
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience as Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous ready to step up
* Formal culinary training (NVQ Level 1+ or equivalent)
* Up-to-date food hygiene and health & safety knowledge
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Calm under pressure, with strong attention to detail
* Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and modern cooking techniques
* Knowledge of international cuisines and current food trends
* Flexible and positive approach to shifts and teamwork
* Basic computer literacy for ordering and kitchen records
