Leadership Opportunity | Electrical Build & Production Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer ready to take ownership of electrical assembly and production within a growing UK manufacturer? Our client a respected conveyor systems specialist is investing in its in-house production capability and is now looking for a Electrical Team Leader to strengthen and lead their electrical build function. This is a great role for someone who enjoys improving processes, mentoring others, and being the go-to expert on electrical assembly for complex, bespoke machinery. Why This Role? The Role What Youll Be Doing As Electrical Team Lead, you will oversee all electrical production activities, including: Leading the electrical build of conveyor systems and automation equipment. Wiring, panel build, and electrical assembly to schematics and engineering drawings. Mentoring and developing a small electrical team / apprentices. Ensuring all builds meet safety standards and production quality requirements. Working with engineering and design teams to resolve issues and optimise build methods. Supporting testing, fault-finding, and commissioning when required. Driving continuous improvement in electrical production processes. About You You will be a great fit if you have: Strong electrical engineering background within machinery, automation, materials handling, or related manufacturing. Experience wiring control panels and machinery to industrial standards. Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings and schematics. Hands-on leadership or mentoring experience (formal or informal). Strong fault-finding skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset. Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
