We’re looking for a dynamic Area Manager for Make, Bake and Decorate to join our team and play a key role in shaping the future of our Bakery operations. About the Role As Area Manager, you’ll lead and coach a team of Team Leaders within your area of responsibility, ensuring high performance, alignment to our Operating Model (TBC), and a strong focus on people development. You will be instrumental in delivering an efficient, well-supported production operation that meets our standards and future ambitions. Key Responsibilities Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team of Team Leaders to enable smooth execution of the production schedule. Ensure learning, development, and clear succession plans are in place for all direct reports. Work flexibly across all shift patterns to maintain strong, consistent engagement with your teams. Provide visible leadership, coaching, and mentoring to enable continuous improvement and team resilience. Ensure adequate Team Leader cover to maximise production availability during absences. Support Team Leaders in the development of SAPA/SMR. Champion and embed our Operating Model across your area. Maintain and improve housekeeping standards in all production areas. Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors to support CI initiatives, production projects, and operational priorities. Provide timely direction and decision-making support for Team Leaders and other functions. What We’re Looking For Proven leadership experience within a production or operational environment. Strong coaching and mentoring skills. A passion for continuous improvement and developing people. Effective communicator with the ability to lead across multiple shift patterns.
