The Opportunity

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you will help us achieve our goals by operating Featurespace's leading product, ARIC Risk Hub, a robust cloud-based SaaS solution. You will work on continuously improving our SaaS features, robustness, and building new services and integrations from scratch.

You will participate in designing, developing, deploying, monitoring, supporting, documenting, and troubleshooting our SaaS solution. Your focus will be on making our SaaS extremely robust, scalable, measurable, repeatable, and cost-effective. You will work with cloud, networking, storage, compute, security, containerization, orchestration, disaster recovery, and the ARIC Risk Hub application, collaborating closely with the Cloud Operations team, the wider organization, external vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

We value adaptability and ownership of duties. Key responsibilities include:

* Deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and upgrading ARIC Risk Hub SaaS and third-party services
* Building software and systems for platform infrastructure and applications
* Improving technology and processes to enhance quality, reduce costs, and accelerate time-to-market
* Testing services with predictable and unpredictable failures
* Providing 2nd-line operational support for SaaS customers
* Gathering data and generating performance reports
* Developing and documenting internal processes
* Collaborating with engineering and data science teams to enhance ARIC Risk Hub capabilities

This is a hybrid position, requiring 3 days in the office per week.

Qualifications

Required experience:

* Experience with cloud infrastructure administration or building cloud-native applications (preferably on AWS)
* Degree in Computer Science or related field
* Proficiency with AWS EC2
* Command-line and shell scripting skills
* Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management
* Proficiency in programming languages like Python
* Understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, routing, firewalls)
* Experience with version control tools such as Git
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools
* Monitoring, metrics, and alerting system management experience
* Experience operating production services at scale

Great to have:

* Experience with tools like Terraform, SaltStack, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Kafka, Prometheus, Grafana, HashiCorp Vault
* Knowledge of securing applications and data, including authentication, TLS, and encryption
* Experience with Kubernetes (administering or developing on K8s clusters)
* Understanding of compliance and system hardening in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
* Experience with Windows Server in production
* Knowledge of IIS, PowerShell, and Windows internals
* Familiarity with infrastructure automation and deployment pipelines for Windows/IIS workloads
