Known for its picturesque countryside, elegant estates, and tranquil lifestyle, Parmoor offers an inviting working environment, ideal for candidates who enjoy a calm and structured setting. The principals, who have a newly renovated four-bedroom home, visit mainly during the summer months and on weekends. They also have a gentle 16-year-old small dog requiring occasional care. Given the rural nature of the area, a driving licence and personal vehicle are essential.
Working as a professional Housekeeper in a private family home involves ensuring that the property is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times. This position requires a flexible and proactive individual who can work independently, manage household tasks confidently, and support the smooth running of the home. The role includes cleaning fine surfaces such as wooden floors, wool carpets, and marble bathrooms, as well as assisting with household organisation and collaborating with the gardener to keep the property in excellent order.

Main duties of the Part-Time Housekeeper:
* Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of a newly renovated four-bedroom home, ensuring all wooden floors, wool carpets, and marble surfaces are properly cared for.
* Changing bed linens, making beds to a high standard, and managing household laundry, including ironing.
* Overseeing household supplies, stock levels, and restocking as required.
* Working collaboratively with the gardener to support the smooth running of the property.
* Managing the house independently while the principals are away, ensuring security and order at all times.
* Providing occasional care for the family’s elderly small dog.
* Assisting with organisation and household tasks to maintain structure and efficiency.
* Driving to and from the property using a personal vehicle due to the remote location.
Requirements for this Part-Time Housekeeper job:
* Three or more years of private housekeeper experience.
* Two excellent checkable references.
* Conversational English.
* UK working permit.
* Driving licence and personal vehicle.
