Join Our Client as a Full-Time Temporary Administration Officer in Kirkham! Are you organised, detail-oriented, and ready to support a vital public service? Our client, a reputable organisation within the government sector, is hiring for a dedicated Administration Officer to join their team in Kirkham. This full-time role offers an initial 3-month contract with the potential for extension, working Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week, at a pay rate of £12.86 per hour.
What you'll be doing
* Organising, maintaining, and updating accurate records within your area of work
* Acting as the main contact point for communications, ensuring messages reach the right people
* Completing monitoring reports and inputting requisitions onto finance systems
* Coordinating awareness sessions and preparing paperwork for managerial checks
* Corresponding with stakeholders and agencies to share relevant information
* Managing databases, filing systems, and logs, producing reports as needed
* Collating data related to Service Delivery Indicators (SDIs)
* Organising and supporting meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking actions
What you'll bring
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
* Excellent communication skills, confident in liaising with various stakeholders
* Proficiency in maintaining databases and handling administrative tasks
* Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy
* Willingness to complete specific training relevant to the role
Additional information
* This role requires HMPPS vetting, which can take approximately 6-8 weeks
* All candidates will undergo security and identity checks
* External candidates will be on a 6-month probation period; internal candidates may also be subject to probation if not already completed
