Purpose: We are looking for an experienced Solicitor or FCILEx (authorised litigator) (minimum 8 years PQE or equivalent) to join our well-established Family Department. The successful candidate will be experienced in divorce and financial matters including pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements. You will be personable, motivated and able to work as an individual and as part of a dedicated team. There are excellent career prospects for the right candidate. Hybrid Working This role would be based in our Bristol office, with a combination of home and office working. Duties/Responsibilities: Running own caseload of divorce and finance cases Doing own advocacy where appropriate Assisting with the Company’s work creation projects Assisting with the Company’s on line documents Appropriate networking/marketing/business development Assisting with the training/development of junior Case Handlers Any additional duties as required Skills/Competencies required: Essential: Strong organisational skills Excellent advocacy skills Excellent time utilisation Proven high billing targets Enthusiastic and positive approach to family law Innovative Sufficiently confident with family law to use your own initiative Proven team working abilities An ability to handle urgent work An ability to work to tight deadlines An ability to remain calm and work effectively in a high pressure environment An ability to bring in own work Experience Required Essential: Experience of running own caseload within a family law environment, dealing with divorce and finance cases Advocacy experience Supervision experience Desirable: Resolution Accredited specialist Education Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (authorised litigator) or equivalent.
