Overview of the role:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards across all areas of the business.

You will be joining a well-established and growing aerospace manufacturer with a strong reputation for innovation, precision, and high-quality delivery. The business supplies complex engineered components to leading global customers and operates to the highest industry standards.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead the flow down of customer and aerospace sector quality requirements into business processes and methods of manufacture.
* Plan, conduct, and support internal and external audits, including NADCAP special processes.
* Carry out technical contract reviews and ensure customer specifications are fully incorporated into manufacturing documentation.
* Drive continuous improvement across internal processes and supplier performance through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and training.
* Support and coach operators and the wider QA team to strengthen capability and compliance.
Key skills looking for:
* Strong knowledge of aerospace quality management systems (AS9100 essential; NADCAP highly desirable).
* Proven experience in quality engineering, auditing, and technical contract/specification review.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and customer requirements.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and influence across departments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to corrective action.
