As a result of a member of our leadership team retiring, the Governing Body is looking to appoint an outstanding, proactive and highly motivated Assistant Headteacher who would inclusion across the school. Part of this role would be to act as a SENCO.

As an Assistant Headteacher your role would be to lead Inclusion within the school. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will also be centrally involved in the overall leadership and management of the school.

We are looking for a candidate who:

Has a proven track record of outstanding leadership within a primary setting with a particular strength in inclusion.

Has evidence of ensuring all children make excellent progress

Prioritises safeguarding and the achievement of children above all else

Is an excellent teacher with strong pedagogical and subject knowledge

Is a highly-motivated and enthusiastic practitioner with the skills to challenge and inspire pupils and adults

Is passionate about education with an interest in educational based research

Is open to coaching and professional development

Is a strong communicator who can work well as part of a team

Is supportive of the school vision

Opportunity for own children to attend the school through admissions criteria

Discounted wraparound care (7.30am to 6.15pm) for own children.
