Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategy aligned with business objectives
Ensure full compliance with UK Health & Safety legislation and act as primary regulatory contact
Lead Carbon reduction and Net Zero commitment initiatives
Conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, and implement mitigation measures
Design and deliver HSE training programs and foster safety culture across all levels
Drive environmental sustainability initiatives including waste reduction and energy efficiency
Provide leadership and development to direct reports
Prepare comprehensive EHS performance reports and communicate with stakeholdersProfile
Ideal Candidate Profile
Essential:
NEBOSH National Diploma or equivalent
NEBOSH Environmental Management
CMIOSH membership or working towards (minimum Grad IOSH)
Proven senior EHS leadership experience in UK manufacturing
In-depth knowledge of UK EHS regulations and ISO standards (14001, 45001)Desirable:
Advanced degree in Environmental Science or related field
NEBOSH Fire/L3 Fire Risk Assessor certificationKey Attributes:
