Are you a payroll professional with a passion for precision and people? We're working with a rapidly growing, values-driven organisation that's on a mission to put people at the heart of everything they do. As they expand their central support team, they're looking for an Payroll Administrator to join their finance function and play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payments across their network.
Location: Taunton (Office-based with 1-day working from home)
Salary: Circa £25,000 PA
Benefits: 20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (accrue additional days up to 25), wellness day, healthcare plan, free parking, friendly team, one day WFH per week, modern offices, growth opportunity
Hours: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Role: Based in finance, you will liaise with various sites to gather payroll data for accurate financial reporting. Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collate payroll data from different sites, input into the system, and produce reports.
2. Assist with system administration, including calculations, verifications, and liaising with managers on new starters and amendments.
3. Communicate with clinical and operational teams on contract and pay issues.
4. Support end-to-end payroll processing alongside the Payroll Manager.
5. Handle pension submissions, P11Ds, expenses, and payroll journals.
6. Drive continuous improvement in payroll processes and controls.

* Experience in finance or basic payroll, or a relevant degree.
* High accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.

* Proficient in Excel and payroll software.
