Salary: Up to £45,500, based on skills and experience

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Trials & Commissioning Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the success of our electrical marine systems. Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting to Work: Overseeing electrical marine systems across the entire ship platform, including Power and Propulsion, HVAC, Fixed Fire Fighting, and more.
* Safety First: Acting as an Electrical Authorised Person, ensuring safe systems of work for ship electrical systems, including isolations and permits.
* Audits & Inspections: Conducting thorough audits and inspections of electrical systems for handover to Commissioning, while collaborating with Operations and Design teams.
* Documentation: Writing essential technical documents to support set to work and trials, including test forms and risk assessments.
* Coordination: Working with equipment manufacturers, clients, and acceptance bodies to demonstrate acceptance of ship systems.
* Problem Solving: Analyzing technical drawings and manuals to troubleshoot ship systems, collaborating with design teams to resolve issues.
* Defining Scope: Establishing the handover scope for electrical systems and testing requirements to align with overall program needs.
Your Skills and Experience:
Essential:
* Experience in Marine Engineering or a similar industry.
* Strong technical understanding of electrical systems operation and design.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor in a multidisciplinary environment.
* Capability to obtain a Seafarers Medical Certificate.
* Relevant commissioning or marine experience.
All engineers should hold an academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM subjects, along with specific qualifications to become recognized as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through a professional institution. We encourage and support our engineers in achieving relevant accreditation.
Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.
