What you will enjoy doing
You will be responsible for shaping the future of our laboratory services, leading with purpose and delivering with precision. As well as driving operational excellence, you will:
* Lead and inspire a skilled laboratory team, creating a culture where safety, inclusion, and collaboration thrive
* Set the strategic direction for laboratory operations, aligning performance, quality, and compliance with business growth
* Ensure full compliance with ISO17025, ISO17034, and ISO17043, protecting our reputation for technical excellence and trust
* Champion innovation by identifying new technologies in gas metrology and building strong business cases for investment
* Maximise equipment performance by ensuring all instruments are expertly maintained, calibrated, and ready to deliver
* Guarantee the accuracy and reliability of calibration and testing data, ensuring timely delivery of trusted results to our customers

You will be responsible for leading with scientific depth, technical clarity, and a passion for innovation. As well as shaping the future of our laboratory services, you will:
* Bring a degree in a science discipline or equivalent hands-on experience in gas metrology, measurement techniques, and instrumentation
* Apply deep technical insight to lead confidently across EffecTech’s product and service portfolio, solving complex challenges with credibility
* Communicate with clarity and impact, whether mentoring your team, engaging with clients, or collaborating across the Linde Group
* Lead innovation with purpose, driving transformation that supports sustainable growth and continuous improvement
* Stay organised and agile in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities while keeping projects aligned with strategic goals
