Emergency Response Partner Development Specialist Location: Compton Courtyard, 40 Compton Street Length: 02/10/2025 – 02/02/2026 Rate: from £25.96 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Airbnb.org is seeking an Emergency Response Partnership Development Specialist to support the development of high-impact partnerships with nonprofit organizations in EMEA, particularly those working in disaster response and health-related emergencies. This role will focus on identifying and engaging prospective partners, supporting onboarding, and maintaining relationships with organizations across Europe, Turkey, and the Middle East. The contractor must be comfortable moving quickly, working independently, and communicating effectively across time zones. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) remote position. Key Responsibilities: Partnership Identification & Outreach Identify and engage prospective nonprofit partners in disaster response and related sectors, with guidance from clients. Global Emergency Response team. Conduct targeted outreach to mission-aligned organizations and networks. Partner Engagement Build and maintain trusted relationships with new and existing partners. Serve as a key point of contact during onboarding and, when needed, during active emergency responses. Meeting Facilitation & Convening Schedule and lead meetings with prospective and current partners. Support the planning and execution of an in-person gathering of core partners in late 2025 to collect feedback and inform the development of partner training materials, toolkits, and other resources. Documentation & Follow-up Track outreach efforts and relationship-building activities. Clearly document progress and independently follow up on next steps and action items. Travel Some travel may be needed for partner-related meetings Skills: Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in partnership development, program coordination, stakeholder engagement, or similar roles. Strong cross-sector fluency, with experience working in or alongside nonprofits and tech-driven organizations. Familiarity with US and international NGO ecosystems, especially in disaster response, public health, and related sectors. Excellent communication and facilitation skills–capable of engaging stakeholders across cultures and levels of seniority. Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to prioritize in fast-paced, dynamic environments. Experience in startup or emergency contexts and comfort implementing initiatives with limited structure.
