Role Description
This an ad hoc as and when required role for a Desktop Support Technician, located on-site in Edinburgh, Scotland. The technician will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting desktop issues, repairing equipment, and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems. Responsibilities include setting up, managing, and maintaining desktop computers, as well as supporting printers and other related hardware. You will be required to respond to technical queries promptly to minimize disruptions in operational workflows.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Desktop Computers and their configuration
* Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting
* Familiarity with Printer Support and routine maintenance
* Skills in Computer Repair to ensure hardware issues are resolved effectively
* Ability to work independently on-site and manage time efficiently
* Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and assisting users
* Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or equivalent are considered advantageous
