Conveyancing Paralegal in Harpenden
Newstaff Employment is hiring an experienced Paralegal in Harpenden to join the Conveyancing department of a highly successful and well-established law firm. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy, professional legal environment where you’ll provide essential support on a wide range of property transactions.

💷 Salary: £30, – £33, per annum
⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:15 pm
đź“Ś Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
1. Open and manage conveyancing files from instruction to post-completion
2. Obtain title deeds, Land Registry titles, and plans
3. Prepare contract packs and legal documentation
4. Check and respond to post, addressing relevant matters
5. Handle post-completion tasks efficiently and accurately
6. Liaise professionally with clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
7. Ensure all client details are updated and correctly recorded
8. Scan, copy, and file documents in line with case management procedures
9. Fully utilise the Case Management System
10. Provide additional support to fee earners in the department as needed
Essential Skills & Experience:
11. Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Conveyancing Paralegal role
12. Strong organisational and multitasking skills
13. Excellent telephone manner and written communication
14. Ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment
15. High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail
16. Confident working independently and as part of a collaborative team
17. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word
18. Experience with legal case management systems
19. Calm under pressure with a proactive, can-do attitude
