Are you an experienced German Payroll Specialist looking for a flexible, remote opportunity with international exposure? We’re hiring for a dynamic role that offers the chance to work from home while supporting a leading organisation with operations across Europe and the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing:As a key member of the payroll team, you will:
1. Process payroll for multiple German sites inpliance with local legislation and internal SOx controls.
2. Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies, handling queries related to tax, social security, illness, insurance, and audits.
3. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across internal departments.
4. Keep payroll documentation and workflow manuals up to date.
5. Attend virtual and occasional in-person customer meetings in Germany, addressing payroll-related queries.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Fluent German language skills (professional level, written and spoken)
7. Strong knowledge of German payroll legislation and applicable employment laws
8. Experience using SAP for payroll processing
9. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
10. Excellentmunication and problem-solving skills
11. Willingness to travel occasionally to Darlington and Germany
