We specialis4e in optimising asset performance, including motors, gear boxes, pumps, machining induction, condition monitoring and fabrication services.
Key Responsibilities
Main Tasks and Deliverables:
* Carrying out the inspection and fault analysis, on all types of pumps, pumping systems, pipe work and associated equipment
* Sourcing components
* Completing repairs
* Testing repaired items
* Developing test equipment and procedures
* Preparing fault / repair reports
* Liaising with suppliers
* Liaising with customer for fault identification
* Producing recommendations for replacement with new item
* Maintaining test kit, tools and workshop
* Presentation of returned items to desired standards
* Presenting a tidy workshop and workspace
* Working within the Deritend QA workshop procedures, method statements and risk assessments
Skills and Experience:
* An experienced electro/mechanical, pump or pipe fitter
* Understanding of electrical and mechanical repair techniques
* Knowledge of a broad range of test equipment
* Excellent communication skills
* Team player
* Basic mechanical aptitude
