Heating Engineer

Overview of Role
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer is to maintain and repair heating and hot water systems in domestic properties, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. You will provide timely service and repairs, communicate progress to customers, and complete all required documentation electronically and manually.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
* Maintain high levels of customer care when dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
* Communicate updates and progress of work, completing required paperwork electronically and manually.
* Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records.
* Manage stock ordering and auditing procedures to keep relevant parts available.
Key Attributes & Requirements
* Gas qualifications required: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
* Availability for out-of-hours evening and weekend coverage on a rota basis.
* Friendly and professional attitude, building strong relationships with clients and tenants.
* Successful completion of criminal background and reference checks before starting work.
