Job Overview
Come and join our friendly and passionate Speech and Language Therapy team in Brent, one of London’s most diverse and vibrant boroughs. We are excited to offer a Band 6 opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our well-established Mainstream Schools Team. This role offers the chance to work across a range of Brent primary and secondary schools, supporting children and young people at SEN Support and those with EHCPs.
In This Role You Will
* Assess and support children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication needs, including DLD, ASD, speech sound disorders, and selective mutism.
* Provide both individual and group therapy sessions within your allocated schools.
* Offer advice, strategies and training to school staff and parents to support communication needs across the school environment.
* Liaise effectively with parents, SENCOs, teachers and other professionals involved in a child’s care.
* Deliver training packages, workshops and contribute to wider project work across the service.
* Manage your own caseload independently with access to regular supervision, peer support and clinical guidance.
