FMCG business
on the search for a
Managing Director.
This is a
perm
role based in
Buckinghamshire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a long-term strategy for growth, aligning with company objectives and market opportunities.
* Drive revenue through new business development, customer retention, pricing strategies, and market expansion.
* Oversee manufacturing and supply chain functions to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost control across production and logistics.
* Ensure excellence in customer servicing and support, maintaining strong client satisfaction and long-term relationships.
* Build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams. Foster a strong, inclusive, and purpose-driven culture across all departments.
* Take ownership of P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance, with a focus on profitability and sustainable growth.
* Ensure all regulatory and compliance standards are met across manufacturing, product, and service operations.
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in a senior leadership role within the FMCG sector, preferably with a background in beverage or food.
* Demonstrated success in commercial growth, business development, and sales leadership.
* Strong understanding of complex supply chains, including manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
* Track record of building and nurturing a positive company culture and developing high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Financially literate with a solid understanding of P&L, budgeting, and strategic planning.
* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* Brand and own label experience.
Salary – up to 160k + car + benefits
