Welcome & Service Assistant - Stockport Summary INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit. Salary: 12.75 an hour Duration: Permanent Hours: 520 hours a year. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. 2-3 shifts a week. Shift timings and lengths vary but start no earlier than 9am and finish no later than 5pm, with shift lengths 5-5.5 hours long. Weekend and weekday availability required. What it's like to work here Working as part of team of 16 and reporting into the Welcome Mangers, your role will support the visitor welcome across three different locations on site: our Admissions kiosk, Information centre and Ticket office. Providing a warm welcome to all, it will be your job to ensure our visitors have a great day out and have all the information they need to make the most of their visit, whilst promoting National Trust membership and ways to support the Trust as a charity. What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.
