Are you an experienced Lab Tech looking for your next step in your career?SourceCo Recruitment are looking for a passionate and skilled Laboratory Technician to play a key role in delivering high-quality testing services within a long-term client in Hereford.Key Responsibilities:Carry out routine laboratory work including microbiological, chemical, and serological analysisPrepare media and perform testing to meet CLAS, RSA, UKAS, and DEFRA standardsUse the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to manage tasks and dataLiaise with internal and external customers to address queries and requestsEnsure adherence to environmental and QA controls, as well as task schedulesParticipate in external Quality Assurance and Internal Quality Assurance (EQA/IQA) proficiency schemesRequirements:Proven experience or qualifications in laboratory work (Microbiological, Chemical, etc.)Ability to follow strict laboratory protocols and standardsStrong communication skills and customer-focused approachAbility to work efficiently in a rotating shift patternSalary:£25,445.42 moving to £26,901.88 within first 12 monthsHours of Work:0700 - 1900 (rotating shift pattern - 7 out of 14 days)Shift Pattern Example (2-week cycle):Week 1:Tue-Wed: OffThu-Fri: OnSat-Mon: OffWeek 2:Tue-Wed: OnThu-Fri: OffSat-Mon: OnThis shift pattern repeats every 2 weeks.If you are passionate about laboratory work and eager to develop your career in a supportive environment, apply now or call Branagh on 07494093316 for more information!TPBN1_UKTJ
